Junior Achievement (JA) inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy. JA teaches students how to start businesses that create jobs. JA teaches entrepreneurial values, skills to generate and manage wealth and how to be responsible consumers, workers and citizens. JA programs provide youth with the skills needed to succeed in school and in life. JA promotes entrepreneurship and its opportunities to youth, educating and inspiring them to embrace entrepreneurial thinking to drive innovation and strengthen our economy.
JA’s fun, experiential programs are in such demand that they are unable to serve all the students and educators who want and need them. Therefore a move to a larger facility in the Midway neighborhood of St. Paul that will allow JA to reach more students and be more accessible to the urban core is planned. JA is excited to be part of Minnesota’s vibrant entrepreneurial culture to help cultivate the innovative spirit that resides in the next generation of leaders. Stop by the JA table, at the 3/7/18 event, contact Karyn Thompson at 651-255-0055 or Karyn@jaum.org, or visit www.jaum.org to learn more about Junior Achievement (JA).
