Founded in 1866, Carleton College is a small, private liberal arts college in the historic river town of Northfield, MN.   Best known for its academic excellence and warm, welcoming campus community, Carleton is home to nearly 2,000 students drawn from almost every state in the union and nearly 40 countries.
